Windows 8 and VS 2012 to hit MSDN on 15 August

TechRepublic Australia Wrapper

TechRepublic Member | August 01, 2012

Editor's note
In a fortnight, MSDN subscribers will be able to get their hands on the final version of Windows 8. After a gestation period where most observers have already come to a conclusion on whether they love or hate it, the OS is finally going to meet the real world. At the same time, the next edition of Visual Studio will be up on MSDN, and the Windows Store will take paid apps. If you missed it on Friday, be sure to check out the YouTube clip embedded in the "Happy System Administrator Appreciation Day" article. It's one for all the folks out there that deal with user complaints day in, day out. Have a good week and I'll return in another seven days. --Chris
