Why can't I connect to the internet?

Question of the Week I am running win 7 on my IBM compatible, and in the system tray it says that I am connected to the internet. When I open the internet explorer it says it can't open page. I tried to do the diagnose but the computer says it can't find a problem with my internet connection. -- anansiman
